How we engage

What happens after you reach out.

  1. Initial response

    We acknowledge every enquiry within one working day. If your matter is urgent, please mark it so in the subject line and call us as well.

  2. Conflict check

    Before we discuss substance, we run a brief conflict check against existing clients. This protects everyone — including you — and is standard practice for any law firm.

  3. Initial consultation

    A 30-minute call (free, confidential) to understand your situation and what good support would look like. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit, and if not, we'll point you in the right direction.

  4. Engagement letter & fees

    If we proceed, we send you an engagement letter setting out the scope, fees (fixed where possible, hourly with a cap where not), and timeline. Nothing starts without written agreement.

  5. The work itself

    We keep you updated, raise issues early, and surface anything that materially changes risk, cost, or timeline. The lawyer who took your call is the lawyer who works on your matter.
